Alumnae

Cleveland Rivals Unite

Three all-girls, Catholic high schools — Beaumont School, Magnificat High School, and Saint Joseph Academy — banded together for an inaugural alumnae giving challenge called Cleveland Rivals Unite from April 30 - May 2, 2024.

During this three day, friendly challenge, these schools asked their alumnae to make a monetary donation to their respective alma mater’s Annual Fund to show not only their school spirit, but support for an all-girls, Catholic education. The winner of the challenge will be selected based on the percentage of alumnae participation versus the amount of dollars raised and will be announced on Wednesday, May 8!
Online donations had to be made between 12:00 a.m., April 30 - 11:59 p.m., May 2. The envelope of mailed checks had to be postmarked between April 30, 2024 and May 2, 2024 to qualify for the challenge.

Money raised will go to each school’s annual fund, which provides critical, unrestricted funds.

Additional rules of the challenge:
  • Challenge is based on percentage of alumnae participation, not the amount of dollars raised.
  • Participation percentage is based on the number of all living alumnae in each schools’ database, including those without contact info or do not contact codes.
  • Participation is based on Annual Fund donations received – NOT PLEDGED - from April 30 through May 2 at midnight.
  • Alumna participation of major gifts, scholarships, endowments, event-funded gifts and are not included in the challenge. Only gifts made to each school’s Annual Fund.
  • An alumna can give more than once but will only be counted one time in the percentage of giving for her school.
  • An alumna cannot give on behalf of another alumna.
