How to Apply

Applying to Magnificat High School

Thank you for your interest in Magnificat High School! Below you will find the application process for 8th grade students who attend a Catholic grade school and the application process for 8th grade students who attend a public or private, non-Catholic grade school. All applications for the 2024-2025 school year must be submitted to the Enrollment office by Friday, January 17, 2025 at 4:00pm.

For 8th grade students attending a public or private, non-Catholic school

  • 1. Visit Magnificat

    BLUE STREAK FOR A DAY VISIT DAYS
    8th graders are invited to be a Blue Streak for a Day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Students will experience a typical day at Magnificat by spending the day attending classes and co-curriculars with a Sophomore Student Ambassador. Reservations for visit days must be made
    three days in advance of your visit.
    Visits for the 2024-2025 school year will begin on September 17, 2024.
  • 2. Apply for Financial Aid

  • 3. Application

    Students can complete the application online through our MyMHS portal. 
    • Click here to create a MyMHS account by completing our Inquiry Form. If you already have a MyMHS account, click here to log in.
    • After receiving your username, use the MyMHS button in the top right corner of our website to log in and view your account.  
    • The application (including essays) 6,7 and 8th grade report cards & state test scores, ELA and Math Recommendation Forms must be submitted to the Enrollment office by Friday, January 17, 2025 at 4:00pm.

    Students currently attending Catholic grade schools should apply through Digital Academy (information provided by the grade schools). Please do not apply through Magnificat's website.

Admission Statement

Magnificat High School is a Catholic, girl’s college preparatory school, founded and sponsored by the Sisters of the Humility of Mary, that educates young women to learn, lead and serve in the spirit of Mary’s Magnificat. We welcome and admit students, regardless of race, religion, and national or ethnic origin, and embrace a policy of nondiscrimination in educational programs, school policies, admission and financial aid decisions, athletics, and all other school-sponsored and administered activities and programs. Admission and re-admission are determined on an annual basis. The administration reserves the right to make such determinations.
